I think I made the mistake of using patterned card for my first try, I should have used double sided and saved myself a breakdown

Yes, I can see what you mean now!!! I was going to suggest using plain card for the first try but you did it so no worries Ann!!!

Thanks mo its not perfect but the pattern hides a multitude of sins

i will have to do it later Elly, must of pressed clear pic cos its not on the card anymore, and its time for me to go out, have enjoyed doing it tho and i will post when i get back in and am not rushing

I'm so proud of you Ann, you can add a little bit of ribbon to the flap inside and leave a bit sticking out of the top to help open it without having to put your fingers inside.
