LIVE CRAFT 24TH OCTOBER!!!!

Hi Everyone!

As requested by Ann, I am running a live craft event on Tuesday evening.  I will be here from 7pm and I aim to start by 7.15 so please make sure you are here by then.

This is what we will be making, a little house to hold a Terry's Chocolate Orange.



You will need:-

1 piece of A4 card.  I made my first sample from about 160gsm and this was good.  The sample you see me working in the demonstration is 300gsm and I found it too thick to work with, and the top didn’t sit nicely.  I would recommend using card somewhere between 160gsm and 200gsm.  This can be patterned or plain as you wish.
2 pieces of glitter card for the ‘roof’, 2⅝” x 2¾” (Or any other kind of card you would like for your 'roof')
Ribbon to tie all around the box and into a bow
A greeting for the front.
A score board with ⅛” markings or ruler and soft pad to rest on.  (Magazine etc)
Scoring tool
Corner rounder
Fancy Edge punch for ‘roof eaves’ (optional)

Oh Elly.... This made me cry!! Brought back so many very happy memories!!
I just love the idea of this box.... so.... all of you keep your fingers, toes and eyes crossed... and I will do my very best to join you. Think this is something I really need... am tearing up again!! Daft old so and so...

should still be ok..forgot its half term but as far as i know nothing has been planned and the kids should be gone by then...will have to let me know if there is a trick to posting straight on here , i have no idea, lol x

To begin

Take the A4 card and place onto score board in landscape position. Score at 2¾”, 5½”, 8¼” and 11”
